This may be a silly question, but I would like to know about taking my two cats with me. I have taught ESL in New Orleans for four years now. I would like to go to another country, particularly an Arabian country because I get the impression the salary is better there, but I would have to take my cats. I am an older woman. How would I go about looking into this? |

Hello Catwoman
Welcome to the forum
It depends upon which Arab country you are going to. I know there isn't a problem with taking pets to the UAE and Bahrain.
However, I would contact the country's Embassy and they will tell you the procedure.
There are organizations that will do everything for you and the following is one in the USA http://www.petrelocation.com/taxonomy/term/364

No problem with bringing cats to Oman either. I have a friend who brought two cats with her. |
