| Hi. My wife and I are experienced (9 years), qualified TEFLers currently in South America. We are looking to work in Saudi or another Middle Eastern country. Only problem: we don't have university degrees. Does anyone know if we can get jobs there without degrees? Thanks. |

I think it's unlikely you'll find work from an online advert in the Middle East as schools there tend to be quite stringent about their requirements: degree + tefl cert + experience and often a higher degree.
However, if you were there in person and the school needed a teacher then your chances are increased. If you both want to work there, it could take longer, however, to find 2 schools in need of teachers there and then and they can't afford to wait to employ a teacher from an online advert.
So, in general, I'd say it's unlikely although not impossible. _________________ ICAL - Quality TEFL Training since 1998 |
