Does anyone have any experience of TEFL teaching in Glasgow? I'm considering returning to that fine city and would appreciate any advice. I want to continue teaching to ease the culture re-entry shock. I've been teaching abroad for over 6 years with a completely irrelevant degree and no formal TEFL qualifications. I do have lots of Business English experience and some great references. I'm thinking about getting a formal qualification, but everyone has told me that at this point CELTA won't do much for me.
If anyone knows of any schools to target or ones to avoid, or has any other tips, please post 'em here.
