I am planning to go and work in Sri Lanka from july, does anyone have any idea of the requirements needed, academically speaking, to work there?

I am planning to do an on-line 60 hour TEFL course with i-to-i, i know the standard is not as good as a 4 week CELTA in london, but i don't think it will be possible for me to do that. I am English therefore native English speaker.

If anyone has any advice i would be more than grateful!

Ian

Actually not to many actual jobs available there I heard, I was considering myself. Did you actually get the job there? What's the latest on the situation?? You might want to jack with Aurthur C. Clarke as he may have some openings at his language school, I heard he started one there Laughing

As you took that on-line only course, why don't you get involved in the debate going over on Unionjack's thread, he's looking for some info on those who took the on-line.
