This shocked us all here in China/ We had zero warning. Now most of us are headed to Korea and the mass exodus from China is causing the salaries to drop in Korea and the free apartments once offered are very rare now.

What's really sick is that China job agents are still peddling the fake TEFL jobs and course for China that do not even exist any longer! Avoid anyone offering you a job in China unless it is an offer coming directly from a university or public school friends

There is a silver lining in this black cloud of bad news my friends... Most all the fake teachers are now being weeded out of the TEFL industry because if you want to teach in China now, it will only be for a public school or university and they thoroughly verify every teaching credential, university degree, and TEFL certificate directly with the issuing authority, including police certificates. In fact the PSB, SAFEA, and the schools themselves are all checking.

And those caught with fake documents will now face one year in jail under the new "False Documents Law" Xi Ji Ping authorized last July.
